We would like to bring you up to date with our new-building Program
You may have already heard that at Friendship Yard, where we are building 4 vessels, the 400 ton Gantry crane collapsed during a typhoon and it will take 9 months to have another in place.
This of course has delayed our new-building project and we now expect to take over the first vessels at the end of 2009.
We have also signed contracts with another shipyard for 2 vessels plus 2 options for delivery beginning 2010
This means that we are expecting to take over 6 new vessels by the end of 2010 and a further
2 vessels early in 2011.
This will give many of our present Chief Mates and Second Engineers the chance for promotion to Master and Chief Engineer respectively.
It also means that Second and Third mates, Third and Fourth engineers can be promoted accordingly.
Ratings and cadets will also benefit by being able to be promoted to a higher rank.
Having more vessels means Job security for many years for all our crew members in an expanding fleet.
Please discuss this with all crew ipozyczkionline.pl on board so they know what the future holds for Bertling and about the opportunities and job security within the Bertling Fleet.
